Artist Statement:
My art tells stories through rainbows. Sometimes bright, sometimes subdued. I use acrylics in every color, or I use mixed media, meaning whatever is at hand, plus paint. I paint about people, animals, and things that inspire me if only for a moment. The beautiful, girl, woman, man, or boy. That fluffy cat, or that view that takes my breath away. I like to interpret that emotion I feel when looking at people and things. I find something beautiful, so I capture it. I have more than one style. I work in series of 12 and 24, sometime intermingling the styles. My art is known by my brush strokes over a specific genre.
In the Works
This is the current piece I am working on, an extension of my dot, wavey lines and color blocked faces, there will be a face, possibly two in this work.
I have two others finished in this series and am doing the scanning, and such to make prints before they come online as a group.
I'm excited about this next group of works.
All artworks 16" x 20" and smaller are $1.00 a square inch. Larger than that is $2.00 per inch, this takes into account materials and time.

I teach free art classes to disenfranchised children. I spend an average of $2500.00 a year on supplies. You can choose to support this by donation; or, purchase an artwork knowing I put a percentage of my sales towards doing this for the children. This is not tax deductible.
As a multidisciplinary artist" coming to my website can be a bit of a surprise. My body of works have several distinct styles, and range across several mediums.
